Day 1

Arrival in Victoria Falls

Arrive at Victoria Falls Airport and meet your transfer representative for the journey to your accommodation. After check-in, allow everyone time to settle in and relax following the journey. Day 2

Victoria Falls and Zambezi Sunset Cruise

Explore Victoria Falls with a guided walk through the rainforest and along designated viewpoints. Learn about the Falls, local history, and the surrounding environment. Later, enjoy a scheduled sunset cruise on the Zambezi River, a relaxing way to appreciate the scenery and look for wildlife along the riverbanks. The daily schedule can be adjusted to suit the family's pace and the weather.

Guided Victoria Falls tour

Visit selected viewpoints with a local guide. The walking route, duration, and suitability should be checked against the ages and mobility of the children. Rain spray can be heavy during certain seasons.

Lunch and rest

Return to the accommodation or enjoy lunch nearby. Allow time to rest during the warmer part of the day. Lunch is excluded unless confirmed otherwise.

Zambezi River sunset cruise

Transfer to the cruise departure point and enjoy the river scenery. Wildlife sightings are possible but not guaranteed. Confirm the operator's child policy, departure time, refreshments, and transfer arrangements.

Return to the accommodation for dinner and a relaxing evening.

Day 3

Travel to Hwange National Park

After breakfast, depart Victoria Falls for Hwange National Park and your selected safari lodge or camp. The road transfer duration will depend on the property's location, road conditions, and any park access arrangements. After check-in and lunch, enjoy a first safari activity if offered by the lodge and suitable for the family. Otherwise, relax and enjoy the surrounding wilderness.

Check out after breakfast and travel by road to the confirmed Hwange accommodation. Allow sufficient time for the transfer and any park entry formalities.

An afternoon game drive offers another opportunity to explore the park and observe wildlife. The pace can be adapted for children, with shorter drives or lodge-based activities where available.
